As a dress I do not like the cut of this and it doesn't resemble the image in the listing much.
The colour is a nice rich brown.
The shoulders are a bit small and the cut under the arms is tighter than I like, making it slightly uncomfortable. I am usually a 12-14 on top so I think the sizing comes up small. It is a loose fit everywhere else but I just do not like the way it hangs. I would feel more comfortable tucking it in at the waist leaving the back to drop over my bottom, definitely works better as a long top in this way.
The V-neck line offers a sliming look drawing the eye downwards. It has vert short sleeves no where near as long as depicted in the listing images.
The material is made from 100% polyester. It is lightweight, breathable and thin material. The label says it should be hand wash but I have washed it on 30c and it has washed up well and hand dries quickly, maintaining its shape and colour.
The overall quality is okay, the stitching has been done well. I do think it is over priced £22.99 and would recommend it being lowered to under £15.
This shift dress is a classic style and I found it very easy and comfortable to wear. It looks really nice on too. I like the simplicity of the design, but I would have appreciated a couple of little side pockets.
The large gives a lovely relaxed fit to a UK 14 without being baggy. Depending on your height the 36 inch length will come to a different place on you.
The royal blue colour is beautiful and eye catching. It is set off nicely by the black trim to the collar and ends of sleeves. The material has a lovely subtle horizontal pattern to it giving it a bit of texture.
It is neatly sewn and finished off. It advises hand washing on the label, but I've put it through a 30° cycle with no problems. It also dries very quickly.
Overall, it's a great little dress for the warmer weather.
