The long sleeve dress comes in 4 sizes, 8 colors. I ordered a medium Lake Blue. The dress runs true to size. The dress has a square neckline in the front and the back. The problem is the neckline, in front and back, is too low. Your bra shows, both in the front and the back. The only way I could wear this would be to use some clothing tape to keep my bra from showing. The material is 100% Polyester, and feels like a heavy cotton material and has a more casual, rather then dressy look. The design is Lake Blue on Lake Blue flocked flower pattern. The dress is about ankle length. I machine washed warm and tumbled the dress dry on a normal heat setting with no special handling. There was no issues… no wrinkling, no shrinking, no pilling, and no fading. This is an easy-care dress. Overall I’ve been happy with dresses offered by Simplee but this one just didn’t work for me.
This is a lovely, flowing, breathable, tiered maxi dress. The elastic waist allows you to position it where most comfortable on your midsection. The sleeves are long and billowy as well with elastic at the wrists that doesn't grab, pinch, or bunch. However, if you push them up to your forearm because you get hot, then the elastic does dig in.
I am short and this dress hits right at my ankles. A perfect fit. It's not lined but thick enough that it is also not see-through.
It has pockets! A huge win.
Now, some cons. The neckline is cut low which may be good for some events but not great if you need to be covered up. Both of the back and the front are deeply cut so you would need to wear another layer if you're going somewhere where you need to be modest. The ties in the back might be cute for some, but the string is very long and leaves a long dangling bow in the back. I plan on just cutting these off because they don't add much to the dress for me.
The elastic around the neckline is very loose so the shoulders slip constantly. Think Renaissance dress. If that doesn't bother you, the dress should be fine, but otherwise, it's really annoying.
The elastic around the waist is light enough that it doesn't dig but for someone with sensory issues, this might get annoying after a while. Also, the fabric is 3D with with fabric tufts at the ends of the flowers. It adds a great visual from afar but close up., it can make the dress look ragged or old.
