This is a beautiful full-length dress that is true to size. I'm a size 16 and am 5'5" and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be full length as the model in the pics it seems to be just above the ankle, but on me it went to the floor. It is lined so you won't have to wear a slip, nor is it see through. It has a shimmer thread every 1/4" or so which gives it an elevated look. There is NO glitter in the material, which is a plus because glitter sheds all over. You will have to steam the wrinkles out. I was afraid I'd burn the fabric with an iron and since I didn't have a steamer, I took a squirt bottle and sprayed a fine mist of water onto the dress and used my blow dryer with a diffuser and set it to hot to blow the wrinkles out in just a few minutes. I love how it has a high stretch band waist. You can't feel it at all. I did alter the sleeves as I hate my arms showing. I just sewed the two points together, which gave it a peek-a-boo sleeve. I will say this dress is impossible to zip by yourself as it has a low back so keep that in mind if you won't have help. The dress was very cool and didn't make me hot like some fabrics will do. I felt elegant in it on our date night to dinner and then the symphony. The only negative I can give this dress is that it is very low cut. Luckily, I own a few clip-on camisoles, and I had a grey one that went well with the blue and was able to be more modest that way. If you need something elegant, yet not expensive, this is the dress.
