Beautiful dress that fit perfectly on my small frame. I am 5”5” 115lbs and very small chested. It can be hard to find dresses that work with my body type, but this dress was perfect. Wore it to my sister’s floral wildflower themed wedding that I was a bridesmaid for. My only complaint would be that the adjustable straps do loosen as another reviewer mentioned, but wasn’t a big deal to adjust.
Felt and looked amazing in this. I don’t say this to brag, but simply as a fact. I got SO many compliments from random strangers (and unfortunately a few creepy old goats). Amazon came through with this dress. I packed it tightly in a packing cube in my backpack, no noticeable wrinkles after. It’s very long and tall girl friendly (I’m 6’1, 185lbs). The pattern is gorgeous and the laces in the back are beautiful and functional if needed. There was a slip layer underneath so the dress did not static to my legs at all.
Con:
1. I had to wear sticky boobs because bra straps showed and I couldn’t zip it up with a bra on (I wear 36 D).
2. Also- the straps are “adjustable”, but the fabric is so slippery that the metal adjusters slid down all day so the straps were extremely loose and fell down a couple times.
Came ripped. Medium fit more like a large.
When I took this out of the packaging, I instantly loved the baby blue color, but I thought the material cheapened the look a bit. The corset-style back is just beautiful and there is an eyelet-type striping on the bodice that makes this have a lot of interest to look at. When I went to slip the dress on, I knew it wasn't going to fit. I tried pulling it over my head. Nope. I untied the corset back, but there wasn't a lot of stretch there to help me. I was excited when I noticed there's a side zipper. Phew. When I pulled it on, the zipper was definitely not going to close, so this dress runs small. However, what I did notice while it was on was that the bodice seems short, so the spot where the empire waist starts flaring out is directly over your stomach where it would make someone look larger. I think this might look nice on a very thin person, but this dress definitely did not work for me. I'm not ever sure if one size larger would have even worked.
